AWC provides engineering and reverse engineering support to our customers as needed. Additionally, many advances in the waterjet technology have been developed by AWC's sister company (MII). Waterjet tooling and waterjet pump technology developed in house allows our abrasive waterjet machining centers to operate at higher effeciencies relative to our competion. As an example, our machines typically require service every 1400 hours which allows us to maintain uninterrupted production and reduced cost to our customers.
For advanced engineering services, Material Innovations Inc. (MII) specializes in machine design, composite material design, and laboratory measurements which are all on site. Software support includes seats of SolidWorks 2009, Cosmos FEA (finite element analysis), and Cosmos CFD (computational fluid dynamics.)
